The Wilderness Mara Camp is a raw, exclusive, low-impact and luxurious Camp that gives you firsthand experience with nature and is a pioneer in the luxury safari experience, featuring 12 tents suites overlooking a wildlife marsh.
Formerly referred to “The Little Governors Camp”. It is situated in the remote Mara Triangle, the camp provides access to both sides of the Mara River, offering a distinct advantage for viewing of the Great Migration with fewer crowds. It is a nostalgic tribute to the safaris of the early explorers and the safari pioneers. Free from artificial luxury and modern disturbances providing the perfect escape close to nature with optimal tranquility and stunning sunrise views. Wilderness camp is how safaris were meant to be. It is tucked in a Saddle Valley within the Mara Naboisho Conservancy in Masai Mara , it is just you, the Maasai, The Wildlife and the stars. It is a place for enticing contrast, its design combines the traditional safari style and fresh modern feel, for the adventurous traveler bringing you close to nature and indeed to yourself.

Christmas Supplement of US$55 per person per day will apply from 20th December, 2026 and 3rd
January, 2027 inclusive.
Flight Supplement of US$141 per person will be charged for all departures from Mombasa/return.
Children Policy:
- Child rate apply between then ages of 3 to 15 years. Children under the age of 3 years old stay free of charge.
- Applicable Accommodation rates: The applicable charge for two adults and one child is the per person sharing adult charge for two adults plus the child rate per night.
- If the child is sharing with one adult then the applicable charge is one adult charge based on the per person sharing rate for one adult plus the child rate per night.
- Children under 3 years do not pay Park entrance fees.
Package Includes:
Full Board accommodation, 3 meals per person per night booked & all soft drinks, beers, and house wines and non-premium spirits, laundry, together with applicable VAT thereon, and transportation of tourists, It includes all transfers in the Mara from Kichwa Tembo Airstrip and two or more excursions daily ( depending on guests preferences) in the famous Masai Mara Triangle and surrounding areas, to local Masai Villages (Manyattas), and to and from the local Schools and other community and conservation projects Governors Camp supports and which guests may wish to visit. It also includes transfers from your City Hotel to Wilson Airport return, return air ticket and Park and Community entrance fees.
Rates Excludes:
Premium drinks, personal expenses, Manyatta entrance fees, gratuities, curio purchases and any items of personal in nature.
For FIT travellers and families, all soft drinks, beers, house wines and non-premium spirits are included. Champagnes, selected fine wines, premium spirits and liquors will be charged as extras. For groups and Incentives Governors Camp reserves the right to charge drinks upon consumption or to levy a drinks supplement.

Vehicle use – Private activities – US$530 per day
Masai (Manyatta) Visit – US$46 per person per Visit.
Note: It is a condition of travel with Wilderness Mara Camp that guests have travel insurance. Should they not have insurance cover, they will be personally responsible for any costs incurred as a result of a medical emergency or evacuation as well as any other insurance claim situation such as loss of luggage.
