MARANGU ROUTE 6 DAYS CLIMB:

HUT ACCOMODATION ON KILIMANJARO. 

6 DAYS ON TREK & 2 NIGHTS IN MOSHI. 

Short Description: Experience the Kilimanjaro Alpine Adventure – a 6-day ascent to Uhuru Peak, Africa’s highest point. Traverse through enchanting landscapes, conquer Gilman’s Point, and witness an unforgettable sunrise view over Kilimanjaro. 

Day 1 – Arrival in Moshi: 

Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha, where our dedicated driver will warmly welcome you 

and transfer you to your base hotel in Moshi. Enjoy a delectable dinner and unwind for the night. 

Overnight stay in Moshi. 

Day 2 – Trek Commencement – Mandara Hut: 

At 10 a.m, embark on your thrilling Kilimanjaro expedition as our driver takes you to Marangu Gate. 

Begin the enchanting 3 to 4-hour trek through the captivating montane forest, reaching Mandara Hut (2700mts). Indulge in a hot dinner and rest at Mandara Huts. 

Day 3 – Trek to Horombo Hut: 

With an early start, venture into the picturesque grassy moorlands on a 4 to 5-hour trek to Horombo Hut (3700mts). Embrace the breathtaking views and delight in a hot dinner and overnight stay at Horombo Huts. 

Day 4 – Acclimatization at Zebra Rocks: 

After breakfast, ascend to Zebra Rocks (3980mts) for essential acclimatization, while enjoying vistas of Kilimanjaro’s Saddle. Return to Horombo Hut for a hot lunch and spend the day resting. Dinner and overnight stay at Horombo Huts. 

Day 5 – Ascending to Kibo Hut: 

Embark on a 4 to 5-hour trek, traversing the saddle between Kibo and Mawenzi, to reach Kibo Hut (4750mts). Prepare for the exhilarating summit push with a comforting dinner and overnight stay at Kibo Huts. 

Day 6 – Summit Conquest – Descent to Horombo: 

At 12:00 a.m, set out for the awe-inspiring summit ascent to Gilman’s Point (5681mts) on the crater’s rim. Witness the sun rise over the majestic Kilimanjaro. Continue for 1.5 hours to Uhuru Peak (5869mts) – Africa’s highest point! Capture cherished memories and descend to Horombo Hut via Kibo Hut, in a 4 to 7-hour trek. Rejoice with dinner and rest at Horombo Huts. 

Day 7 – Final Descent and Return to Moshi: 

After breakfast, descend for 5 to 6 hours to the park gate. Our driver will transfer you to your base hotel in Moshi. Enjoy a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay in Moshi. 

Day 8 – Farewell or Extended Adventures: 

Bid farewell to Kilimanjaro’s breathtaking beauty. We’ll transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha for your onward journey.
