Day 1 – Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will proceed through immigration and customs clearance procedures. Thereafter, you will be met by a Primate Expeditions representative just outside the baggage area and transferred to your hotel.

The remainder of the day will be at leisure.

Accommodation

The Boma Entebbe – Standard Room (BB)

Day 2 – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred back to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled Aerolink flight to Kihihi Airstrip.

Upon arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, you will be met by a lodge representative and transferred to the lodge.

The remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure.

Day 3 – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve: Gorilla Trek

Today, embark on your unforgettable Uganda gorilla trekking adventure in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest Reserve — home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorilla population.

While trekking through the dense rainforest, you will have the rare opportunity to observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Looking into the expressive eyes of these gentle giants is undoubtedly one of Africa’s most moving and unforgettable wildlife experiences.

After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4 – Entebbe

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Kihihi Airstrip (approximately 90 minutes) for your scheduled light flight back to Entebbe International Airport.

Arrival in Entebbe will be in time to connect with your international departure flight.

Important Note

This package is based on gorilla tracking in Buhoma.

In the event permits are unavailable in this sector, Ruhija sector will be considered at an additional transport surcharge of US$330.00.

Inclusions

Terms & Conditions

Visa Requirements

Ugandan visas are required for citizens of the European Union, USA, Japan, and other nationalities based on the principle of reciprocity.

Visas MUST be applied and paid for online prior to arrival:

No visas are issued upon arrival.

Applicants must possess a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of departure.

NB: The East Africa Tourist Visa allows travel between Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda.

Booking Terms & Conditions

1. All quotations are net/non-commissionable and inclusive of statutory taxes and levies.

2. Once a booking is confirmed, an invoice will be issued and payment must be made immediately to secure services.

3. Primate Expeditions Ltd shall not be liable for excursions or extra services not booked through its offices.

4. For cash payments, US Dollar notes issued before 2009 and US$2 bills are not accepted.

5. Invoices are subject to a US$35.00 international bank telegraphic transfer charge.

Gorilla & Chimpanzee Permits

Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are confirmed upon payment to the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) on a first-come, first-served basis.

Primate Expeditions Ltd shall not be held responsible if permits are unavailable at the time payment is received.

Kindly Note

a) Gorilla permit rates are based on current Government Park Tariffs and are subject to change without prior notice.

b) Gorilla permits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy for the safari sector excludes permit policies.

Additional Conditions

• Cancellation notices must be submitted in writing.

• Notice is only effective upon written receipt.

• Unused portions of any safari or tour are non-refundable.

• Certain small and luxury properties may require a non-refundable deposit to guarantee bookings. This will be communicated at the time of booking.
