Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your Safari, Step by Step
08.00 Depart your Nairobi Hotel (Panafric) and drive along the busy Thika Highway to the Mount Kenya region or Aberdare’s. Lunch is at your base hotel either Aberdare Country Club or Outspan Hotel in Nyeri town. Arrive and check in at Mountain Lodge/The Ark/Treetops. Enjoy game viewing from your Tree Hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Mountain Lodge (HB)/The Ark (FB)/Treetops (FB).
Continue viewing game overnight from your rooms overlooking the Water Hole. Mount Kenya National Park/Aberdare National Park has variety of animals including Elephants and other game.
Breakfast at your Tree Hotel (Mountain Lodge/The Ark/Treetops). Depart thereafter to Isiolo and proceed further to Samburu National Park. Arrive and check in at Sarova Shaba Lodge. Lunch at your Lodge.
This Park is in the northern part of Kenya and has unique wildlife species like the Gravy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuks, Masai Ostrich and others. Much of the wildlife is found along River Ewaso Nyiro.
Afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge (FB).
Morning game drive. Breakfast and at your Lodge. Some rare species like Leopards are sometimes sported along the river bed hunting. Proceed thereafter with game drive enroute to Samburu National Reserve. Lunch at your Lodge/Camp.
Afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge/Samburu Intrepids (FB).
Early morning game drive. Breakfast at your Lodge. Depart thereafter for Kentrout in Nyahururu for Lunch and then continue driving to Nakuru National Park.
16.00hrs Afternoon game drive in this Park that is the World’s number one Birds paradise with over 2 million flamingos, all feeding on algae. It is here at Lake Nakuru National Park where you may easily sport a Rhino. Breakfast and Lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (FB).
Early morning game drive. Breakfast at the Lake Nakuru National Park. Depart thereafter and drive across the vast Masai land to Masai Mara National Reserve. Game drive en-route to Mara Serena Lodge/Sarova Mara Camp/Governors Camp. Lunch at your Lodge/Camp.
16.00hrs Afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve which is a world famous Game reserve with plenty of wildlife. Breath fresh air and enjoy the Splendours of nature. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/Sarova Mara Camp/Governors Camp (FB).
Early morning (Option to try a Ballon flight as an extra excursion) and morning game drives in this most popular reserve in Kenya, where several migrations of animals take place, with the most famous being that of the wildebeests moving from the Serengeti across the Mara River to Masai Mara and back to the Serengeti. This migration attracts the movement of other kind of animals back and forth.
The Masai Mara is a Reserve with savannah like type of vegetation with stretches of scattered trees and bushes in some others parts particularly along the Mara River, and has ragged hills on the western part.Lunch at Mara Serena Lodge/Mara Sarova Camp.
Early morning game drive enjoying the beauty, tranquillity and serenity of the area with plenty of game.
Breakfast at your Lodge/Camp. Thereafter enjoy game drive en-route exiting the Reserve for your drive back to Nairobi.
End of Safari.
