Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your Safari, Step by Step
14.00 Depart your Nairobi Hotel (Panafric) and drive along the busy Thika Highway to the Mount Kenya region or Aberdares. Arrive and check in at Mountain Lodge/Treetops/The Ark. Enjoy game viewing from your Tree Hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Mountain Lodge (HB)/Treetops (FB)/The Ark (FB). Continue viewing game overnight from your rooms overlooking the Water Hole. Mount Kenya National Park or the Aberdare’s has variety of animals including Elephants and other game.
Breakfast at your Tree Hotel (Mountain Lodge). Depart thereafter to Nairobi and proceed driving along Nairobi/Namanga Road before diverting to a rough road from Namanga and over vast Masai land to Amboseli National Park arriving timely for Lunch. Lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge/OL Tukai Lodge.
Afternoon game drive around the swamps and open plains enjoying the variety of game and herds of Elephants. Amboseli National Park is situated at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro and has plenty of game. It gives such a beautiful picturesque background to the Park. It has a wide game catchment area encompassing the nearby Maasai ranches. Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge (FB).
Early morning game drive enjoying the game as you search for more wildlife. Drive around the plains and the swamps appreciating the vegetation and the game. Be close to nature
Breakfast will be served at your Lodge. Morning game drive thereafter. Lunch at your Lodge.
16.00 hrs Afternoon game drive. The Park is unique for its many herds of Elephants. The King of the Jungle may just be a stone throw away from you, in the short grasses around. Be on the look out and search for more game. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge/OL Tukai Lodge (FB).
Early morning and morning game drive enjoying more game-viewing. Breakfast at your Lodge. Proceed thereafter on a drive to Nairobi. Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant.
14.00hrs Depart Carnivore Restaurant and drive out of the busy city roads of Nairobi, driving over Waiyaki way and along Nairobi/Nakuru Highway. Divert at past Limuru and drive over the Kikuyu escarpments to Mahimayu. Maintain the drive past wheat farms and well past Narok town and across the vast Masai land to Masai Mara National Reserve. Game drive en-route to Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
Masai Mara National Reserve is a World famous Game reserve with plenty of wildlife. Breath fresh air and enjoy the Splendours of nature. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/Sarova Mara Camp (FB).
Early morning (Option to try a Ballon flight as an extra excursion) and morning game drives in this most popular reserve in Kenya, where several migrations of animals take place, with the most famous being that of the wildebeests moving from the Serengeti across the Mara River to Masai Mara and back to the Serengeti. This migration attracts the movement of many other kinds of animals back and forth.
The Masai Mara is a Reserve with savannah like type of vegetation with stretches of scattered trees and bushes in some parts, particularly along the Mara River, and has ragged hills on the western part.Lunch at Mara Serena Lodge/Mara Sarova Camp.
Afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/Mara Sarova Camp (FB).
Early morning and morning game drives enjoying the beauty, tranquillity and serenity of the area with
plenty of game. Breakfast and Lunch at your Lodge/Camp. Thereafter enjoy game drive en-route exiting the Reserve, and keep driving your way through to Lake Nakuru National Park. Game drive en-route to Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (FB). Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (FB).
Early morning and morning game drives. Lake Nakuru is the World’s number one Birds paradise with over
2 million flamingos, all feeding on algae. It is here at Lake Nakuru National Park where you may easily
sport a Rhino. Lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
14.00hrs Depart thereafter Lunch to exit the Park and head back to Nairobi dropping you off at your City
Hotel by 18.00hrs.
