Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your Safari, Step by Step
Depart early morning from your Mombasa hotel and drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway to Tsavo East.
Enter the park via Miyaseni Gate and begin your first game drive across vast savannah plains dotted with acacia trees. As you approach Aruba Dam and the Tsavo River, the vegetation becomes greener, attracting diverse wildlife.
Enjoy lunch at Satao Camp, overlooking a waterhole frequented by animals.
In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, tracking elephants, lions, buffaloes, and other wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at Satao Camp, with optional night-time wildlife viewing at the waterhole.
Start the day with an early morning game drive before returning for breakfast.
Exit Tsavo East via Voi Gate and proceed to Taita Hills Sanctuary.
Arrive in time for lunch at Taita Hills Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Later, transfer to Salt Lick Safari Lodge, an elevated lodge overlooking a waterhole. Enjoy dinner and overnight with continuous wildlife viewing from your room.
Begin with an early morning game drive in the sanctuary.
Return to the lodge for breakfast, then depart for Mombasa.
Arrive at your beach hotel in time for lunch, marking the end of your safari.
