It is a family owned and operated boutique lodge perched on the banks of the Mara River on Naretoi a privte estate within the Enonkishu Conservancy.
On what was once a farm on the northern edge of the Mara ecosystem, Naretoi is the first project of the kind where the land use on the edge of the Mara has reverted from commercial farming back to nature. Over the last ten years, this “rewilding”project has seen the range lands return to their natural state, with wildlife returning to the area after a decade of intensive farming.
