5 Days Luxury Rwanda Mountain Gorillas & Golden Monkey Trekking Tour.

Starts with a Kigali City Tour and heads to the Volcanoes National Park, have a lifetime experience trekking the mountain gorillas and golden monkeys while staying in high p end lodges on this 5 Days Rwanda luxury Gorillas and Golden Monkey Trekking tour. You will use either a 4 x 4 Vehicle or touristic Vehicle.

Day 1: Arrival at the Kigali International Airport – Transfer to the Hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Pinnacle Kigali (FB).

Day 2: Kigali Genocide Memorial – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park – Musanze (approx. 2 hours & 30 minutes drive).

On this day you will be picked up from your Hotel and taken round for a short City tour visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Thereafter go for Lunch at a local high end Restaurant/your hotel, before transferring to Musanze. Along the way, you will have time to discover the beautiful views of the Rwandan landscape. Alternatively you request to go by Helicopter ride (30 minutes flight) at an additional cost. 

In the afternoon, you may proceed for an optional visit to the Ellen DeGeneres campus of the Dian Fossey gorilla fund. A multi acre eco-friendly facility adjacent to the Volcanoes National Park designed to serve as a gateway to the conservation efforts towards protecting Mountain gorillas, the place is full of Dian Fossey’s interesting conservation stories and research work. Dinner and Overnight at Singita Kwitonda Lodge (FB).

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Experience.

After an early breakfast, proceed to Musanze, the home of the Mountain Gorillas , the Volcanoes National Park headquarters – Kinigi to meet your guides for the day. After completing the Park formalities, embark on your once in a lifetime experiencing the mountain gorillas. Once you spot them, you’re allowed one full hour of spending with them closely to watch them go about their daily activities. 

Proceed thereafter, back to your Hotel/Lodge for Lunch. You may go thereafter in the afternoon for an optional excursion to gain cultural experience at the Gorilla Guardians formerly by Iwacu cultural village center, get entertaining history, music and stories of Rwanda and their ways of life. Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge Singita Kwitonda Lodge (FB).

Day 4: Undertake the Golden Monkey Trekking + Transfer Back to Kigali (Approx. 2 hours & 30 minutes drives).

After breakfast proceed to the park headquarters to meet your guides for the Golden Monkey trekking activity, get the briefing and get commenced, once you meet the Monkeys, enjoy watching them feeding, grooming each other, care for their young ones and playing for a full hour. After completing your experience you will drive back to your Hotel/Lodge for Lunch.

You will then drive back to Kigali. Alternatively, you can request to go by Helicopter ride (30 minutes flight) at an additional cost. Dinner and overnight will be at Pinnacle Kigali (FB).

Day 5: Departure.

After a delicious breakfast you will check out of your Hotel room. In case you have time, you may proceed on with souvenir shopping, 

Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight home.
