The Masai Mara is a Reserve with savannah like type of vegetation with stretches of scattered trees and bushes in some parts, particularly along the Mara River, and has ragged hills on the western part.

14.00hrs Depart from Carnivore Restaurant and drive out of the busy city roads of Nairobi, driving over Waiyaki way and along Nairobi/Nakuru Highway. As your about to descend the great Rift Valley at Limuru you will have magnificent picturesque view of Kikuyu escarpments, with a clear background view of Mt Longonot and Mt. Meru on the far South. A further descent will give you the view of Lake Naivasha and thereafter lake Elementaita before arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park.

Enjoy a game drive en route to Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Late afternoon game drive en-route to Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (FB). Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (FB).

Early morning and morning game drives. Lake Nakuru is the World’s number one Birds paradise with over 2 million flamingos, all feeding on algae. It is here at Lake Nakuru National Park where you may easily sport a Rhino. Lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

14.00hrs Depart thereafter Lunch to exit the Park and head back to Nairobi dropping you off at your City Hotel.
