7: 3 Days Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk Safari Adventure.

This trip will culminate to Nyungwe Forest National Park, where you will then trek the Chimpanzee and Colobus monkeys, take your adventure on the canopy walk with a great view of the forest, and enjoy  the Tea plantation experience. Lunch at Stafford. On the way you will experience Rwanda’s culture in Nyanza King’s Palace Museums. Dinner and Overnight at Munazi Lodge in Standard room. You will be in a 4 X 4 Vehicle or Tourist Vehicle.

Day 1: Nyungwe National Park.

Pick-up after breakfast from your Hotel and drive to  Nyungwe National Park, the home of the primates and Canopy walk. The journey south west passes through the beautiful terrace hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda’s landscapes, sighting of Kamegeri Rock in Ruhango  District, stopover at the Nyanza King’s Palace for cultural experience . Lunch at Stafford and proceed with the journey. Upon arrival at the Munazi Lodge. Dinner and Overnight at Munazi Lodge in Standard room (FB.)

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk Adventure.

On this day you will enjoy an early breakfast at your Hotel before embarking on a thrilling hike in search  of Chimpanzee communities. The Rwandan Chimpanzee population is thought to consist of approx. 400-500 individuals, confined to the Nyungwe National Park, including a small community in the Cyamudongo Forest . Prepare to hear these excitable primates before you see them, as their pant-hoots travel through the deep forest. During your hike you may also spot migratory birdlife including the Ross, turaco, grey-cheeked hornbill, red-breasted sparrow hawk and regal sunbird. Return to the hotel, have your lunch then proceed wit the Canopy walk adventure and experience a suspended bridge covering 160 meters through the lush montane rainforest and 70m high from the forest floor. This is one extraordinary  activity  that offers a spectacular view of the ancient  forest. Later after experiences, you will return to the Hotel . Dinner and Overnight at Munazi Lodge in a Standard Room (FB) 

Day 3 Colobus Monkey Trekking with a Transfer back to Kigali and Departure.

Early morning breakfast at your Lodge. Proceed thereafter to the forest for the Colobus Monkey trekking adventure. Once you spot the monkeys, you will normally have up to an hour to observe them. After the experience, return back to the Lodge, check out and transfer back to Kigali and drop-off at your Hotel/Residence.
